I’m a Colorado Springs photographer who is a preferred vendor at The Pinery at the Hill.

Located in Colorado Springs, is a 22,000 sq. ft wedding venue. Smaller venues where I photograph weddings like Moss Denver and Blanc, are only 2,000 and 3,000 sq. ft, respectively. 

The Pinery often receives awards as the Best of the Springs Best Wedding Venue.

Owned by Mitchell Yellen, The Pinery opened in 2005. Yellen’s investing philosophy is based on encouraging people to invest locally. And he has done that with The Pinery at the Hill as well as his other local businesses including Altitude Hospitality and The Till.

This Tuscan-style resort venue is best known for its views of Colorado Springs including a panorama of Pikes Peak and the Colorado Springs.

The venue property includes several event spaces. Those spaces include the Sweet Water Chapel, The Veranda, Cascade Ballroom, Bella Vista Ballroom, Evergreen Room, Bowline Lounge, Lincoln Boardroom, and the Churchill Library.

Most wedding activities center around the Sweet Water Chapel and the Cascade Ballroom. The Sweet Water Chapel can accommodate up to 200 of your friends and family members and the Cascade Ballroom holds as many as 225 seated guests. My personal favorite thing about those event spaces is the Bridal Suite and the Cascade Ballroom because of the incredible view of the city of Colorado Springs, especially at night.
